"But war. War never changes.
When the magical bond between sun and moon was finally cut, the land of Euqestria fell into the shadow of a perpetual eclipse, neither night, nor day.
A few rich and fortunate hid away, in great underground Stables.
And for nearly a hundred years after the death of the sun and moon, there were whisperings of a secret chamber. Hidden deep in the Equestrian Wastelands. A place where the goddesses of both Sun and Moon slept, along with a few chosen subjects. Awaiting the day when they would once again, bring light and dark to the dying lands.
" Here's my entry for this weeks MLPATG Alumni weekly theme!
It's been a few weeks since I submitted, so I thought I'd try extra hard this week. The theme this time around was "Discovery", so forgoing the temptation to try my hand at drawing Daring Doo, I decided to combine one of my loves with another, and do a Fallout Equestria pic
The idea here, was to show Celestia making the 'ultimate discovery' - awakening from an drug-induced sleep, and discovering that the world she has lived in for the past 200 years, is in fact, a computer-generated simulation of Equestria, before it became a wasteland.
Those familar with Fallout 3 will recognise the reference to Vault 112, and the Tranquility Lane level of the game. My idea was that the Equestria we've seen so far in the show, is an artificial reality (hence explaining why it's always so damn clean), and that the real equestria has long been a wasteland. This nicely ties together both the universes of FIM and Fallout Equestria, and provides plenty of room for overlap between the two.
Anyway, hope you liked it! And that figure in the window is meant to be Little Pip. Of course xD
And if you're especially keen eyed, you'll notice I've hidden the spinning top totem from Inception, somewhere in this pic. INCEPTION!
